During the night, the police were alerted to Hogstorp in Uddevalla, after several people heard shots being fired.

The police discovered that two trash cans, which were not located near any building, had been shot at. No one was injured, and a report has been filed for serious weapons offense and vandalism.

According to Peter Adlersson, press spokesperson for the police in Region West, there is currently no explanation for the shots.

There is no known threat against anyone living in the area. Whether it was a reckless shooting or a test shot, I don't know, he says.
