The police have been alerted to Märsta north of Stockholm regarding a shot exterior door to a residence in an apartment building.
No one has been physically injured in connection with this, but there were people at home in the residence, says the police's press spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
The police will not disclose how many people were in the residence. Any motive is too early to comment on.
The alarm came in to the police at around 2 pm on Saturday. Multiple patrols are working at the scene.
Partly, it's those who are searching for potential perpetrators and have checked several people in the area. Partly, patrols are working on door-to-door inquiries, reviewing cameras, and talking to witnesses. So we're working full out.
No one has been arrested yet and the case is being investigated as attempted murder.
