The "Tunna blå linjen" star Amanda Jansson plays the lead role as Jana Kippo when "Jag for ner till bror" becomes a TV series, writes Dagens Nyheter.
It has been previously known that Sanna Lenken is directing the SVT series, which is based on Karin Smirnoff's acclaimed novel from 2018. The script is written by Karin Arrhenius.
In other major roles, Rasmus Johansson and Jakob Öhrman can be seen.
Amanda Jansson has previously made the same role interpretation on the theater stage in Teater Västernorrland's production of "Jag for ner till bror".
The series premieres in late autumn 2025.
