A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter after a collision between two cars on Highway 50 outside Söderhamn.
The person is seriously injured, says police spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.
The accident occurred at around 16:30 on Tuesday.
It was a side collision. There was one person in one car and five people in the other. One of the passengers was very seriously injured, says Magnus Jansson Klarin.
He has no information about whether any of the other five involved needed hospital care.
The police have filed a report on reckless driving and causing bodily harm. Both cars have been seized.
