A Serbian minister resigns after Friday's deadly ceiling collapse at a train station in Novi Sad in Serbia.
Goran Vesic, minister for construction, transport and infrastructure, says in a televised statement that he will submit his resignation application to Prime Minister Milos Vucevic on Tuesday morning.
14 people were killed when the concrete ceiling at the entrance collapsed during rush hour. One of the victims was a six-year-old child.
Construction work was underway in other parts of the station when the collapse occurred.
The station was built in 1964 and was officially reopened two years ago by Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic and Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, as the station is to become an important hub in the planned high-speed rail link between Belgrade and Budapest.
