The death of the British teenager Jay Slater, who disappeared on Tenerife, was the result of a fall and an accident. This conclusion has been reached by the forensic pathologist in Preston, Lancashire, reports BBC.
The 19-year-old disappeared on Tenerife in mid-June 2024 after a music festival. He had wandered around in the mountains for hours during the night, on his way home to his holiday apartment in Los Cristianos. Slater's body was found about a month later.
According to the forensic pathologist, Slater died immediately after falling 25 meters into a steep ravine in a national park. The after-effects of the alcohol and drugs he consumed may have contributed to the fall, the doctor assesses.
