At least one person has been injured in the city itself, which is located in northeastern Ukraine, and at least three people in a locality outside, according to Kharkiv region's governor Oleh Synehubov on Telegram.
Kharkiv's mayor Ihor Terechov announces that the attack on the city lasted for three hours. Russia used bombs as well as ballistic missiles and drones.
"Four attacks with laser-guided bombs, two attacks with ballistic missiles and about 15 attacks with 'shaheds'", Terechov writes on Telegram and refers with the latter to Iranian shahed drones.
Russian attacks have also been directed at the Dnipropetrovsk region. Governor Serhij Lysak urged the inhabitants during the night to seek shelter and stay there.
