The swimmer Björn Seeliger misses the semifinal on 50 meters freestyle at the Olympic Games in Paris. The Swede swam in at a time of 22.21 and was not close to advancing.
He had 30 swimmers ahead of him in the heats and all those who advanced had times under 22 seconds. Seeliger's time was 54 hundredths of a second over his personal best on 50 meters freestyle.
Seeliger also competed individually on 100 meters freestyle, but was eliminated in the heats there as well.
