A SAS plane with 102 passengers and seven crew members en route to Arlanda outside Stockholm was forced to land in Paris on Friday evening.
One has received an indication of smoke in the cockpit and therefore the decision has been made to go down in Paris instead, says Rikard Steinholtz, press spokesperson at SAS.
The plane was on its way from Málaga in Spain and was supposed to land in Sweden at 23.15.
In Paris, everyone on board had to leave the plane.
Now they are being taken care of and booked into hotels in Paris, says Steinholtz.
He states that another plane will take off from Paris at 11.30 on Saturday and fly the passengers to Arlanda.
The first plane will be examined by SAS technicians to find out what happened.
