”I had read about the win in articles and on social media during the weekend and thought: ’Who is that winner who doesn’t answer when they call?’ But I didn’t think more about it – I hadn’t a thought that it could be us”, says the winner, who is in their 20s, in a press release from Svenska Spel.
It was his partner who had submitted a lottery line without telling anything, even though the couple has played on Eurojackpot for a few years.
Now the couple, who lives in the Stockholm area, thinks among other things to upgrade their accommodation, buy a car and start studying as well as maybe start their own business.
In March this year, a person in Västra Götaland won 1.25 billion kronor on Eurojackpot – the largest win so far in Sweden.
