This according to a report that the aid organization War Child has produced together with the Community Training Centre for Crisis Management (CTCCM) in Gaza.

The authors have interviewed 504 households – a total of over 2,300 people – with children who are injured, disabled or unaccompanied. Nearly half of the young people in the study say that they believe they will die due to the war. 87 percent exhibit extreme fear and it is common with aggression and withdrawal.

Since the war broke out on October 7 last year, when terrorist-designated Hamas attacked Israel, 88 percent of the households in the study have been forced to move several times. It is difficult to get food and the vast majority of breadwinners are unemployed.

Every fourth main breadwinner is also under 16 years old.
