The swimming pool at the Danish beach hotel The Reef in Fredrikshamn has been forced to remain closed for several weeks since a rat was discovered.
After a persistent hunt by Danish Anticimex, the rat has now finally been caught, reports P4 Göteborg. The rat managed to evade capture for a long time, it was discovered as early as the first weekend in July.
”The process of catching the rat has been much more demanding than we anticipated,” wrote the hotel director earlier in an email to the channel.
The swimming pool will reopen on Thursday, according to the news agency Ritzau.
