The prosecutor has lifted the detention of one of the suspects after the cake poisoning in Karlskrona.

It was on October 16 that nine people fell ill after eating pastries in an apartment in Karlskrona, some of them so severely that they required intensive care. It has since been revealed that they had cannabis in their blood.

Three men aged 20 to 25 were arrested as suspects for aggravated assault, but one of them has now been released. According to Blekinge District Court, the investigation is still ongoing against him as well. TT has sought a comment from the prosecutor.
