A person has died in a fire in a villa northeast of Degerfors.

The alarm came in at 2 pm. Six fire trucks were sent to the site to fight the fire.

The entire entrance and parts of the house were ablaze when we arrived at the site, says Mats Sjölander, duty officer at Bergslagens rescue service.

A person who was inside the villa was rescued by the rescue service. Another person was outside the villa. Both were taken to Karlskoga hospital by ambulance.

The fire will not be further investigated by the police. The incident is classified as a fire without suspicion of crime.
