Pontus Jansson appears in a criminal investigation linked to Malmö FF supporters.
Jansson is not suspected of a crime but is being internally investigated by his employer. Now he is getting support from his friend, national goalkeeper Robin Olsen.
Jansson's relation to certain MFF supporters is mentioned in a well-known preliminary investigation.
The midfielder chose himself to inform Malmö FF when he became aware of the situation. He was not allowed to play the final Allsvenskan match of the spring season against Brommapojkarna last weekend.
During the national team's press conference before the match against Serbia, Olsen is asked about the situation surrounding his friend Pontus Jansson.
Olsen says he has contacted Jansson.
On TV4 Fotbollskanalens question about where a player should draw the line in their relationship with supporters, Olsen answers:
Pontus Jansson has left the chat group and asked for forgiveness.
