Four children and three adults have been taken to hospital after a traffic accident on the E22 at Västervik just after 6 pm on Thursday evening.
Two cars have collided in some way, according to initial reports it's about a rear-end collision, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.
It's about a passenger car and a smaller family bus, according to the police.
The age range of the children is between 8 and 15 years, says Bratt.
The extent of the injuries is unknown, but all those involved were conscious after the accident, according to the police. Those involved were taken to hospital for control.
One of the drivers is suspected of not keeping a safe distance to the preceding vehicle.
