Several cars have collided on the Uddevalla Bridge between Sunningen and Sund, outside Uddevalla, the police write on their website.
A total of eight passenger cars are reported to have crashed. Initially, two people have been lightly injured.
According to the police, the bridge is very slippery, which is now completely closed to traffic.
