A stick-injured man in his 40s was taken to hospital by ambulance from a residence in Malmö municipality.
The police arrested a suspected perpetrator in his 35s at the scene where the man was found injured.
There is some form of acquaintance between them from before, says Evelina Olsson, the police's press spokesperson.
The police were alerted at 5:30 pm on Saturday and are categorizing the incident as suspected aggravated assault. Earlier, reports emerged that the man was critically injured.
It's aggravated assault, so not life-threatening, says Evelina Olsson.
