A man has died after an accident during a boat race on Lake Norra Barken in Smedjebacken.
The alarm came in on Friday evening and an ambulance helicopter was called to the scene.
On Saturday, the police stated that the man had died.
His boat got a throw and then crashed straight down towards the surface, said the police's duty officer Mathias Henricsson to Nya Ludvika tidning on Friday.
The police have filed a report on causing another person's death but currently there is no suspect. The boat has also been seized.
