A man in his 70s is being treated at Lycksele hospital for critical injuries after a gas cylinder exploded in a cottage outside Vilhelmina and caused a fire, reports Västerbottens-Kuriren.
The alarm came at 1 pm on Saturday and the rescue service and ambulance were called to the scene. A few hours later, the rescue service announced that the fire was extinguished.
The man was in the cottage when the explosion occurred.
