SMHI has issued a yellow warning for rain similar to cloudbursts in parts of Jämtland, Västernorrland and Västerbotten throughout Sunday until 21:00 in the evening.
Heavy showers can bring up to 50 millimeters of rain in a short time, with a risk of flooding and traffic problems. Local thunderstorms can also occur, writes SMHI on its website.
The local variations are large and the showers are believed to mainly affect the western part in the evening.
In the afternoon, gale with much wind and sea is also expected in the Skagerrak. SMHI urges to consider whether it is advisable to go out to sea.
