A 65-year-old man was found unconscious in a hole at a recycling station in Gothenburg on Tuesday afternoon, the police write on their website.
The man was taken to hospital in an ambulance with serious injuries. The incident is being investigated as a workplace accident and bodily harm.
The police have not yet made contact with any witnesses and urge anyone with information in the matter to come forward.
