A man in his 30s has been arrested for murder and rape in Ystad over the weekend. The man is suspected of first raping a woman in her 20s on Christmas Eve and then killing her, according to Sveriges Radio Malmöhus.
The man and the woman are said to have had some form of acquaintance, according to prosecutor Love Lundin. The woman was found dead in her home.
