On a list, there are several people from the Danish gang environment followed by tasks with "a price on their lives". For the most high-profile individuals, the price is set to two million euros, reports the Danish Politiken.

Torben Svarrer, head of Denmark's national unit against special criminality, confirms that they are aware of the lists for the newspaper:

We are aware of various lists that are circulating on different social media and encrypted communication services, and they are included in our daily intelligence assessments. It's something we're following closely, he says to Politiken and continues:

Right now, our assessment is that it's primarily young Swedes who are taking on the most dangerous tasks.

Svarrer has previously stated to TT that Swedish teenagers have taken on tasks for payment in the country.

Generally, we've seen young Swedish guys who have taken on tasks via social media for payment. We've heard that it's about sums from 100,000 kronor and upwards.

According to Svarrer, the background is a conflict between two Danish groups.

Someone has stolen narcotics from someone else and they've wanted to do something to get it back, he has previously said to TT.

In recent times, several Swedish citizens have been involved in violent crimes in Denmark. During August, six Swedish citizens were arrested, including several minors. They are suspected of, among other things, attempted murder and possession of hand grenades.
