Katarina Vangdal is the new sports manager at the Swedish Olympic Committee. This left a vacancy on the position of national team captain for the golf team. It will be filled by Ola Lindgren, who takes office on March 1.
Lindgren has 19 years of experience in various roles within the golf team. Most recently as coach for the men's national team, a role he has held since 2018.
"Together with my colleagues at the golf association and other stakeholders, I look forward to continuing to develop Swedish elite golf in the spirit of my predecessors," says Lindgren in a press release.
