The concerts will take place on March 21, 22, and 23.

In a video on the band's website, ghostly figures glide through Stockholm. At the end of the video, it says: "For three nights a ghost will come alive", i.e. "For three evenings, a ghost will come alive".

"We have received several offers over the years since our farewell, but above all, numerous questions about when we will play together again, many from new fans who never saw us back then. Last autumn, we simply decided that the time was ripe", says the band in a statement.

The band performed their last concert on December 17, 2016, when the farewell tour ended. Kent does not want to call the performances next year a reunion, but says it would be nice to "experience the magic once again, while everyone is alive and healthy".

"We will not record new music and we will not tour, but it would be incredibly fun to see you all again. We hope you think it's just as fun to see us. One more time."

Tickets will be released on October 26 at 12:00.

The band was formed in 1990 under the name Jones & Giftet, which later became Havsänglar. In 1993, the band changed its name to Kent. They have released twelve studio albums, including "Vapen & ammunition", "Du & jag döden", and "Jag är inte rädd för mörkret".

With "Verkligen", "Isola", and "Hagnesta Hill", Kent became one of Sweden's largest bands, and during the 1990s, they won six grammis awards, three of which were for the pop/rock group of the year. In the 2000s, the successes continued with several acclaimed albums and increasingly larger concerts, and over the years, Kent has sold more than two million albums. The band has performed over 1,000 concerts.

Members: Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Markus Mustonen, Sami Sirviö. Former members also include Harri Mänty (1996–2006), Martin Roos (1992–1995), and Thomas Bergqvist (1990–1992).

Studio albums: "Kent" (1995), "Verkligen" (1996), "Isola" (1997), "Hagnesta Hill" (1999), "Vapen och ammunition" (2002), "Du och jag döden" (2005), "Tillbaka till samtiden" (2007), "Röd" (2009), "En plats i solen" (2010), "Jag är inte rädd för mörkret" (2012), "Tigerdrottningen" (2014), "Då som nu för alltid" (2016).
