Jonas Kahnlund returns to Unga Klara and becomes the new CEO – for the second time, but now with over 25 years of experience from the cultural sector.
He was previously CEO from 2009 to 2015 and worked to establish the theater as an independent institution. He also worked for Unga Klara to become a national stage for children and young people, which the theater became in 2018.
Now he wants to continue the work for Unga Klara to be "an international spearhead scene".
"Suzanne Osten's significance for Swedish theater is unparalleled, but she has also been the most important person in my professional life. She has shaped me as a leader" he says in a press release.
Kahnlund comes most recently from a job as producer and content strategist at All Things Live. The theater's current CEO Stefan Hansen becomes the new cultural counselor at the Swedish Embassy in Washington.
