"Idol" Jury Writes Song for This Year's Winner

The news was revealed in connection with this year's first weekly final in "Idol" on TV4.

"It's a 20-year anniversary, so why not go big? It feels very exciting and fun to write a song together with the jury that's tailored to this year's winner of 'Idol'", the trio says in a press release.

The jury's song will be an extra prize for the winner of this year's competition. It's already known that the winner will be rewarded with a record contract and the opportunity to release this year's "winner song" which the finalists will perform in the final program.

It's a merited trio that will collaborate. Anders Bagge has written and produced hit songs for artists like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Ace of Base, Ash Pournouri is known for his collaboration with Avicii, and Peg Parnevik is an experienced songwriter.
