A fire is burning in a garage building in central Eskilstuna with significant smoke development as a result.
We received the alarms at around quarter past two, when passersby saw smoke and flames from a storage building, says Sebastian Levin, duty officer at the rescue service.
At around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, the rescue service announced that the fire was under control.
No people are believed to be left in the garage and there is no risk of spreading. It is unclear whether the building can be saved.
The rescue service issued an important message to the public, but it was withdrawn at 3 pm.
