The Briton Charley Hull usually calms her nerves with a cigarette out on the golf course, but during the Olympic Games tournament at Le Golf National south of Paris, she will likely not be smoking.

I don't think it's allowed, says the 28-year-old Englishwoman ahead of Wednesday's first round.

At the same time, Hull hopes that France's reputation as a country with many smokers will lead to her being able to smoke without being punished. If that's not the case, the golfer believes it will affect her during the four-day competition.

Yes, I think so, since it calms my nerves. But that's the way it is, says Charley Hull.
