Floods following severe rainfall have hit Yemen, a country severely affected by war and famine. At least 60 people have died, and about ten are missing, according to the UN.
The rains have also severely affected communities and infrastructure, and nearly 270,000 inhabitants are directly affected.
"The supply of the population, which was already hanging by a thread, has now been swept away", notes the UN's aid organization Ocha.
Yemen is divided, with a large part of the country controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi movement.
Figures from the UN over the weekend estimated that over 600,000 children are suffering from food shortages, of which 120,000 are classified as severely malnourished.
