From Sunday, colder air will move over the country and southern Norrland may get more snowfall.
But it's during next week that the ground can become white even in the south. On Wednesday or Thursday, a low-pressure system from the south will reach Sweden.
It can snow over southern Sweden's inland and up to Svealand, it may even reach the coast, but it depends on the path the low-pressure system takes, says Emma Rosengren.
It's difficult to predict exactly which parts of the country will get precipitation in the form of snow, where it will be slush, and where it will fall as rain.
It can settle on the roads in several places, it will probably be a few centimeters.
During the week, there is a risk that the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) will issue warnings in connection with the snow.
If it's the first snowfall, there may be a warning. There may also be some wind that causes trouble, says Emma Rosengren at SMHI.
She urges everyone to stay updated on what the forecasts say when it approaches the middle of next week.
