A powerful fire is raging in an industrial facility that manufactures boats in Laxå.
The fire broke out on Saturday evening and the rescue service was alerted at around 20:30 after flames from the roof and thick black smoke were seen from a distance.
No personal injuries have been reported, but as of 03:30, the fire was still in full swing.
It's a difficult-to-handle fire, but at 01:30, we received reports that the fire had decreased in intensity and the rescue service is working at full capacity to prevent spreading and to get control of the fire, says Sara Jutilla, team leader at SOS.
Eleven units have been alerted to the fire from the rescue service.
It is unclear when the fire will be extinguished.
We have no prognosis for the time being, says Sara Jutilla.
