The man in Södertälje who has previously admitted to murdering his two children does not suffer from a serious mental disorder. This emerges from the forensic psychiatric investigation which has now been completed, reports Dagens Juridik.

The two children, seven and eight years old, were found dead in a semi-detached house in Södertälje at the end of April. The father was arrested and detained on suspicion of murder. The district court decided that the man should undergo a forensic psychiatric examination.

According to the documents which Dagens Juridik has previously had access to, the man has admitted to killing his minor children. The man is previously unconvicted.
