Several inmates are said to have escaped from a Sis facility outside Sollefteå, according to information to Aftonbladet.
Natalia Rylander, press secretary at the National Board of Institutions (Sis), confirms to TT that there have been youths who have absconded from the Sis facility.
She does not want to say how many have escaped or when it happened.
I cannot go into details now, she says.
Sis has turned to the police with a request for assistance to get help in searching for those who have escaped.
It was in connection with the youths participating in sports that they absconded, Aftonbladet has learned.
