Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold has had heart problems during the season opener. The fault was found to be heart rhythm disturbances, and on Wednesday, she chose to address the issue through a heart operation.
But it doesn't seem like she'll get any extended rest. She's already been selected for the next World Cup competition in Oberhof.
We're bringing Ingrid and hope she can be ready despite the heart operation last week. But the final evaluation will be made when it gets closer, says Norwegian national team coach Per Arne Botnan to VG.
The competitions in German Oberhof will take place on 9-11 January.
