A child has been taken to hospital after falling into a stream in Varberg municipality on Wednesday evening, local media reports.
It is unclear what injuries the child may have sustained and how the accident occurred. P4 Halland reports that the child risked ending up in a water-filled culvert connected to the stream, but that the child was picked up from the water before that happened.
The child is said to be between five and ten years old.
The accident occurred just before 8:00 pm.
