"The investigation has shown that the person who was shot inside the premises was not the person the perpetrators intended to shoot", says senior prosecutor Frieda Gummesson in a press release about the shooting that took place on December 25.

A 23-year-old man who is alleged to have fired the shots is being prosecuted for attempted murder and serious weapons offenses.

"The 23-year-old has also put others at risk of death by firing shots outside the pub, which could have had further consequences", says Gummesson.

A 17-year-old boy is also being prosecuted for attempted murder and serious weapons offenses for his involvement in the shooting, while a 21-year-old is being prosecuted for aiding and abetting the shooting.

The 21-year-old and 17-year-old are also being prosecuted for serious weapons offenses and preparation for murder on December 23-24, crimes for which a 15-year-old boy is also being prosecuted for involvement in.

According to the investigation, the 15-year-old was forced to participate, which is why several people are being prosecuted for unlawful deprivation of liberty and serious unlawful coercion.

Finally, two 16-year-old boys are being prosecuted for incitement to serious weapons offenses and instigation to murder.

The defendants come from different parts of the country.
