A 17-year-old boy was arrested during a police operation in Malmö on Wednesday evening, reports TV4 News. The boy is suspected of preparing to commit murder.
We suspect that a boy under 18 years old has been hired by someone to commit a serious violent crime. The teenager has come to Malmö but is not from the city, says police spokesperson Nils Norling to the channel.
The arrest took place in the Rosengård district, where a courtyard was cordoned off and several people were taken in for questioning.
In connection with this, the police suspected that the 17-year-old, who was allegedly assaulted on the spot, was planning to commit a murder, according to TV4's information.
