Another man is suspected of murder following the fatal shooting of a man in the Rosengård district of Malmö.
The man has been detained in his absence after a detention hearing. Prosecutor Lisa Åberg does not want to comment on the man's age, citing security concerns.
He is suspected on probable grounds. If his name is revealed, there is a clear threat against his relatives, she says to TT.
He is not in police custody because we do not know where he is.
The man is not suspected of the actual shooting.
He has still been involved to such an extent that I believe he should be considered a perpetrator, says Åberg.
The shooting occurred in the middle of the day at the end of August. When the police arrived, they found a 25-year-old man on the ground with suspected gunshot wounds. He died on the spot.
Shortly afterwards, an 18-year-old man was arrested. He has since been detained, suspected of murder, attempted murder, and aggravated weapons offense.
