The major bank Danske Bank is lowering the interest rate on mortgages with fixed terms, the company announces in a press release.
The reductions are between 0.10 and 0.60 percentage points.
The interest rate on a loan with a one-year binding period is being lowered by 0.60 percentage points to 4.29 percent.
The two-year interest rate is also being lowered by 0.60 percentage points to 3.99 percent.
For loans with a five-year binding period, the new interest rate will be 3.79 percent, a reduction of 0.20 percentage points.
The reductions will apply from and including Wednesday, August 14.
Last week, among others, Swedbank and Länsförsäkringar lowered several of their mortgage interest rates.
