It was in May, in connection with the visit of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Sweden, that Marcus Wallenberg told that several of the Wallenberg sphere's large companies, such as Ericsson, Saab and SEB, will establish an AI center in Sweden with the help of Nvidia's powerful data processors.
In a press release from Wallenberg Investments, the company writes that the newly created Sferical AI will place the AI system in Linköping.
"Through this investment, we create the opportunity for some of the leading companies in Sweden to position themselves at the forefront of the rapid structural change of the business community that the development and use of AI entails", says Marcus Wallenberg, Chairman of Wallenberg Investments, in a written comment.
