The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Finnish Defence Forces have together placed an order for radio equipment – worth around 168 million kronor, writes FMV in a press release.
The purchase is the first joint one within the framework of an agreement concluded between the countries' defence forces in April.
The purpose is to "support the development of the common situation picture, communication, decision support and intelligence capacity between Finland and Sweden and to keep costs down".
The deliveries are to be completed before the turn of the year.
