One of the companies pointed out by the UN is Rolls Royce, which makes engines for Israel's tanks. Four of the AP funds own shares in the company.

Another company pointed out is the American Palantir. The IT company makes software for AI and combat management, and has close cooperation with Israel.

Several of the AP funds have invested in the company, most of all the Seventh AP Fund, whose shares in Palantir, according to SVT's review, were worth 4.8 billion in mid-August, compared to 389 million in October 2023.

The AP funds should, according to their guidelines, not own shares in companies that contribute to human rights violations. But according to AP7's sustainability officer Charlotta Dawidowski Sydstrand, it is difficult to control what is true.

We need more evidence to act. It's a problem to get verifiable information from war zones, there are many rumors and allegations, she says to SVT.

Norwegian pension company Storebrand/SPP sold its holdings in Palantir last autumn.
