Hammarby at Tele 2 arena is seen by many players as one of the toughest away matches of the year.
It won't get any easier since Kim Hellberg's team has been undefeated since last summer and is currently the second strongest team in Allsvenskan in terms of points.
Despite this, Norrköping managed 1-1, largely thanks to the fact that no one gave up, but also because many showed a class and caliber that deserved points.
As always, as in all football matches over the years, equalizing at the end is a winning feeling, says Alm.
IFK Norrköping, embroiled in the relegation battle since April, has as a club experienced a stormy sea with demands for the board to resign, an extra annual meeting that elected a new nomination committee, and one thing after another.
Economically, the result points to a loss of 30 million kronor. One of Swedish club football's most venerable clubs has fared much better, both on the pitch and in the financial reports.
"Fix it nicely"
Kim Hellberg is fairly certain that Allsvenskan football will be played at "Parken" also in 2025.
I think they'll fix it nicely, but I'm not the best at making predictions.
Hellberg, from Norrköping, doesn't need to be polite. Norrköping has pulled themselves together when it mattered most – and they have players like the Dane Vito Hammershöy-Mistrati to bring in when it gets critical.
Three times this year, he has saved points at the end of matches.
He absolutely wants to play, he's not satisfied with standing outside the team, but the energy he shows in training... it's quite easy to see opportunities for him when it's time for substitutions. He's good at returns, he has a nose for points. That's where he's dangerous, says Andreas Alm.
"It's going to be tough"
Hammershöy-Mistrati himself says:
I'm working on becoming a star in Allsvenskan. I don't need an explanation for why I'm not playing more. I'm 32 years old.
What speaks in favor of IFK Norrköping playing in Allsvenskan next season?
We have a good team, we work extremely hard in training every day. But it's going to be tough. I don't want to stand here and say we're an Allsvenskan team next season, but I hope and believe that we are, says Hammershöy-Mistrati.
Andreas Alm:
We're still in a precarious situation, we have one point more, which is good, but we have several tough matches ahead of us that we need to take on.
Next up is Elfsborg away on Thursday.
