Three teams of photographers were needed to follow the cat Luffar-Lasse. The result has now become the program "A Weekend with Luffar-Lasse" which is broadcast – just like "The Great Elk Migration" – as so-called slow-TV on SVT Play.
Luffar-Lasse became a national celebrity through "Musikhjälpen", but it's only now that he gets his own program. The idea is that viewers will get to follow the cat and experience the world from his own perspective, writes SVT in a press release.
Almost every day, he goes to a colony area in Trollhättan or to a shopping center.
"It becomes a real thrill when he passes busy roads and we will also get to see a kitten", says producer Stephan Wilson in a press release.
The broadcast takes place on September 21-22 and lasts for 14 hours.
