I would rather die than be medicated, says Ye – previously known as Kanye West – in the documentary by filmmaker Nico Ballesteros.
Ballesteros has followed Ye for six years, reports Hollywood reporter.
It is about a period full of scandals with anti-Semitic statements, conspiracy theories and attacks on other celebrities. The documentary captures a time when Ye receives his bipolar diagnosis, divorces Kim Kardashian and loses many of his major sponsorship deals.
In a voiceover, Kim Kardashian is heard crying.

The film also shows the couple's children and family life, West in design meetings for Yeezy, his religious Sunday Service gatherings and concert performances. On one occasion, West wears a shirt with the text "White Lives Matter."
"In whose name" will be released in the US at the end of September.
