Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not" Tops P3's Most Played Summer Songs

It is said that there is no major international summer hit this year. But Ravyn Lenae is an exception. Her "Love me not" is the most played this summer on P3 in Sveriges Radio.

Lifestyle magazine Nylon also notes that the American r’n’b singer has received a huge boost with the song that was released already a year ago, but has been played frequently all over the world during the summer.

Otherwise, it is the Swedish contributions that dominate the list of P3's most played summer songs – six out of ten contributions are Swedish. Hannes ”Friends” is in second place, Zara Larsson's ”Midnight sun” in fourth and Familjen's ”Medicin” in fifth place.

Among the most played international contributions are Sabrina Carpenter's ”Manchild” in third place and ”Shake it up" with Molly, Skillibeng, Shenseea & Silent Addy in seventh place.

”There is a lot of debate right now outside of Sweden that the big summer hit is missing. We at P3 partially agree with the lack of the big international hit, but it has not been difficult to play summer songs for our listeners", says Mari Hesthammer, music editor at P3, in a press release.
