The metal band At The Gates' singer Tomas ”Tompa” Lindberg is being cared for at the hospital for cancer, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
Lindberg was diagnosed with cancer in the mouth and palate in December 2023 and has since undergone a major operation and two months of radiation.
”It has been a tough year”, the singer writes on Instagram.
Lindberg also writes that the cancer is not gone and that the future is unclear. He also announces that the band is expected to release a new album that could be recorded before his operation.
