Sean Kingston Sentenced to 3.5 Years for Multi-Million Fraud

Rapper Sean Kingston has been sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for a multi-million fraud. Kingston was convicted along with his mother, Janice Eleanor Turner.

They are, among other things, alleged to have purchased cars and luxury goods for about ten million Swedish kronor with the help of forged documents. The police carried out a raid on Kingston's residence in May last year, and both he and his mother were arrested in connection with the raid.

Turner's five-year prison sentence was finalized last month.

Sean Kingston broke through in 2007 with the huge hit "Beautiful girls" and is also known for his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the song "Eenie Meenie" from 2010.
